I think they have a refreshingly weird little take on all that Christian nonsense.

Why would I think about the LDS church or the Mormons or that they are the same thing? I mean,do a lot of people dwell on that sort of thing? "Hey,Martha,what are your opinons - let me list them - all these ludicrously tiny religions that got set up over the last 150 years?"
"Why Henry,are talking about Bahais and the Jorhei Fellowship and God knows what else?"
"Sure,and the Moonies and the Hare Krishnas and don't forget all those old New Agers since Blavatsky..."

yes, it the same thing. Mormons is more a nickname for the book they belive in called the book of mormon. lds Stands for the the church of Jesus Christ of later day saints. short Lds. that chruch offical name

They add to the Bible...Book of Mormon, Doctrine of Covenants, Pearls of great price.........I'm not sure what else but I know its a false religion.
It seems that like most cults the leaders all have great revelations from the Father, like the Mormons did when polygamy became illegal, or when they wouldn't let blacks in there church. They had a revelation recently that they were to tithe 15% instead of 10%.
They take care of there own however. If your a Mormon and you need help they will feed your family and clothe you. They attract young people by enticing them with the family's are forever deal.
Mormons are truly lost!

After 21 years seeking the truth, I divorced my wife and put on a 9 year effort to rid my children of this " religoun'' Please read the mormon doctoron and find out for yourself. The trinity, immaculate conception etc etc are not supported by any mormon doctorin. Read D&c 132, the GOD I believe in wouldnt have given Emma that altimatom!

Mormons as people are the nicest people I've ever met. I am sorry that they follow a church that, in my opinion, teaches them a false gospel (the Book of Mormon) from a false prophet (Joseph Smith).

Really nice clean family values, very supportive if your in the fold but very close minded.
The beliefs that are attached to the Mormon church are false and proven to be untrue. Such as the Mayan Ruins in the Yucatan are built by the lost tribe of Israel and their decendant are the ancestors of those people but were turned dark skinned by God cause he was pissed at them.
The Mormon church is more a cult than anything else.
