The average serving size for meat, the size of a deck of cards, is FOUR ounces. You asked the size of ONE ounce. To eyeball one ounce of meat, think 1/4 of a deck of cards. EIGHT ounces (or one cup) of something is the size of a normal fist.

RE:
How much is one ounce of meat?
The nutritional facts for most meats is in ounces but I don't know how to measure that without a kitchen scale. Is there a way to eye-ball the size of a few ounces of meat?

I did some checking on the internet. Every site said the same thing. 3 ounces of meat is equal to the size & shape of a deck of cards. That works for all types of meats. Hope this helps.

Good answer Misty!
An ounce of meat is also about the size of an average person's fist.
