Have your friends bring her along when you guys go out. That way the first few time she see you won't be an uncomfortable date with a stranger. Once she feels less shy around you, the two of you can go out on your own.

If she is shy when it comes to dating, then make the date where she HAS to do something, and there won't we any akward silent moments, where she can shy away. Comical movies are great, yet i do not know if that would make things even more awkard. Another great idea is bowling, iceskating, rollerskating, or over here we have a place full of trampolines which is entertaining. Because she is shy try to make the date more fun, like she would do with her friends. That way she will be less shy and will be willing on going on more dates.
Hope this helps!

Hey there! I don't think you should go on an official 'date' coz that will make her shy/nervous. Just hang out together in a relaxed environment without formally calling it a 'date'. Maybe at first you can hang out together with your mutual friends? Then you can get to know eachother more and she will be more relaxed if her other friends are there. It's always good te be friends with the person first before anything else! Hope this helps!

Keep the date calm, more relaxed and non invasive conversational, let her relax and open up in her own time and terms. ( and stay up beat the whole time )

Set this one up, as example, meet for a dinner date some were, take the stress off her up front, ie: it will not be a late night for you because of plans for the next day. And stick to it.

If all goes well, and I hope it does..... the " can I call you " question is real and is received as being so.

Do call,,,,, The rest I hope is at minimum you are now on your way to having a great new friend.

Be yourself but go at half speed. Let's say you like a kiss on the first date, don't go for one til the second. Just get to know each other on the first date, then maybe invite her to a group thing on the second. Basically go at half the speed, give her time to get to know you and get comfortable.

If she is shy at dates, then make your friends hook you up with her as a surprise to her. There would be no way for her to escape it. She would just face it.

you don't need your friends for hook ups. you probably can get the job done yourself. besides you don't need all your friends so deep in your personal life. go head and figure out your own way to get close to her. you never know what you got until you use it.
