I'm assuming you're going home for Easter? If your family is religious and typically says grace over Easter dinner, you can ask to be the one who does it. This is what I did for Thanksgiving, and proceeded to give thanks for family, friends, the meal etc., and ended it with, "I'm especially thankful for the little one growing in my belly." Get ready for the peals of excitement!
Congratulations!

You can combine all the baby-related things that really get the point across. Like a framed ultrasound picture, wrapped in a diaper cloth, tied together with pink or blue ribbon with a pacifier nametag that says "To the Grandparents" or "To the Great-Grandparents."

If you are into scrap booking, you could make a card specific to your situation...exp. is it a surprise to you all....you have been trying a while and it finally happened. they have very interesting pictures of what the embryo or fetus look like, there could be a way to incorporate that. pictures of pacifiers, bottles, booties are ideas for decorating the card. Sweetly let them know that on such and such date they are going to be grandparents or great grandparents. At some stores such at Factory Card Outlet, i believe you can personalize the mylar balloons. maybe a quick little saying on a balloon would work....GOOD LUCK and CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Before you tell her. Go to the drug store and buy her a card for grand mothers and fix up a baby basket of things she will need when she gets to babysit. When she sees all of the stuff she will know that you are having a baby. And by the way Congrats.

Congratulations to you both! If you have an ultrasound before this, make a nice copy and you could put it into a very nice grandparents frame. Wrap it up, and it will be their first picture of the new baby to come!

You could get them a shirt that say worlds greatest grandma. Or a cup and watch them open it. Since my son wasnt the 1st grandchild I didnt want to do that so I made a book with all the grandchildrens photos in them each page was a child with names and ages, starting with oldest going to youngest. on the last page it said "baby ferguson" (our name) where the photo should be it said "photo to follow Jan 2003"

You could buy your mum and dad a present such as a childrens DVD or some wool and knitting needles.
Or maybe give them a grandma and Grandpa Easter card.
They have lots of cute magnets about such as grandma's house, children spoilt as you wait etc, so maybe a gift like this might be nice.
Congratulations!!

Give them each a gift that has a baby bib in it that reads:
I love my Grandma (for your mom)

How about giving them a gift box, the size of a wallet, with your baby's first pictures inside the womb?
