this is her first time and mine too! I have many questions but one big thing I notice is she always hungry. I want to feed her enough but not over feed her.

Give her a good quality kitten food or one designed especially for pregnant queens. Cats have increased nutritional requirements when pregnant, often they can't eat as much as they need to get the nutrients they need. Kitten food is concentrated so she will be getting what she needs from it without too much bulk.

You can't overfeed a pregnant Mom! Let her have what she wants, she is eating not just for herself, but for her kittens too and it takes a lot of energy. Restricting her intake of food will lead to problems!

Normally cats don't overeat, tho I suppose that they're are exceptions. Feed her high quality cat food. Keep her dish full of crunchies all the time and feed her canned in the morning and in the evening. If you use the bigger cans like 9 Lives, just give 1/2 for each meal. She will need more food then she usually eats to help the kittens grow. Also to help in milk production. Mother cats usually need very little help in raising their babies. I have much experience with them. They are good mothers.

I would call a vet and ask them, one thing that may be of benefit, is to find out about when she will diliver, and then about two weeks before she dilivers, start feeding her kitten food, as this is higher in nutrients than normal cat food. Especially calcium, and this is what she will need, for the babies will deplete her calcium levels.

Offer her good wholesome food ~ get advise from your vet, as she may also require 'worm treatment'. Ensure there is plenty of fresh water available.
