Opinion on tongue piercing??

Question

I want to get my tongue pierced, But my boyfriend of 6 years really doesn't want me to. I have wanted it for the past 12 years. I have my belly done. (That was done right before I met my B/F) My B/F is the kinda person that doesn't beleave in any kind of pierceings. (Ears included, Which I have 2 in each ear) I talked to him about it and he said what every I want, But I could tell he REALLY REALLY doesn't want me to do it. I said to him, I will get it and then in a year or so (Maybe sooner) I will take it out. I just need to do it to say I have done it, and not regrete not doing it. What do you guys think?? should I not do it for him, or just do it and get it over with?? anyone know any good place's in the San Fernando Valley (In Californa) to go to??

Well ic that u care about what ur bf thinks and thats always a good thing. But i think u should make your own choice in this. And no i dont kno any good place cuz i live in Wisconsin!

Don't do it theres a huge percent that you could get your tounge infected. Infection of the tounge could lead to amputation. Why would you want it on your tounge anyway no one can see it.

Forget it. You'll eventually regret it & many times, it causes painful infections.

I could think of several reasons for you not to but the #1 reason is that your B/F REALLY REALLY doesn't want you to.
