I have the same problem with the eyeshadow thing. My best advice is to just put the shadow on so that it is more on your lower lid area (farther from the place where it creases). That's all I can tell you. It works for me, but only to a certain extent.

Oily skin is a common problem. I am 32 and still have it. One thing that helps is to keep your skin hydrated. Use an oil free moisturizer. Your skin is producing oil, because it thinks it is too dry, so using an oil free moisturizer tells your skin you have enough oil - don't produce anymore. I boil water over the stove and put my face over it with a towel covering my head letting the steam get all over my face- about once or twice a week. This opens the pours. After you have had all you can take blot your face and use a face mask. I like Biore's heating face mask. For the eyelids I recommend using a moisturizer on them also, only at night. Do not put base on your eyelids - only a light dusting of powder and then the eye shadow

**try using a conceler or a cream based eyeshadow first before you apply a powder shadow. it can prevent creasing and will make the powder shadow stick.
**as for your skin it sounds like you have combination skin. if your face is partly oily and partly dry, there are several ways to care for it so that you can keep both types balanced and looking good.
**use a mild cleanser on your entire twice a day. use a good moisturizer on the dry areas. moisturizers work by either increasing the penetration of water into the skin or by reducing the rate at which water is evaporating from the skin surface.
**look for products that normalize your skin, such as those that contain alpha hydroxy acids - alpha hydroxy acids are derived from fruit, milk and sugar cane and have anti-inflammatory properties. when applied to the skin they help remove dead skin cells (exfoliate), giving a younger appearance.
**use oil-absorbing makeup on oily areas to control shine.
**also a sunscreen with a minumum spf of 15 is always good.
good luck!

I have the same problem! I have a super oily T-zone and my eyelids always seem to be oily...I just stopped wearing eye shadow and drinking more water! The water helps your body flush out the oil! As for how to help without drinking more water...sorry, I have no idea. Good luck to you!

Shiseido Pre Make-up cream or MAC Prep and Prime before applying on make up is the best to not show shiney spots. For your eye make up, use MAC Shadestick, it's the best when putting on eyeshadow and it stays on all day without going into the crease.

Clean your face daily with NOXZEMA SKIN CREAM. Use the original dark blue container, not the moisturizing cream. Also take a multivitamin/mineral daily with just a bit of extra zinc. This should help keep your face free from oil. Lastly, don't eat anything greasy and stay away from fries and potato chips.

I'd suggest you try using PONDS. Ducks do.
Seems to work fine for them. But, seriously:
Neutrogena is (also) a very good anti-acne
treatment; and there is an oily-skin variety
of it available in a store near you.
Good health & good luck.

In young person, the proction of sebum (skin grease) is increased during the teen years, because of the levels of testosterone in men. and normal androgens in females.
it will pass away with time, however, you can use Dome Boro Solution (sodium borate) powder, dissolving one little powder package, in 1 liter of lukewarm water, and after washing the face with Aveeno soap only (oatmeal soap)
when waking up and going to bed (that means twice daily)
It will work.....
