where you get it done has nothing to do with it. there are experienced and inexperienced stylists everywhere. being a stylist for 25yrs and having worked a number of places , i have found that the price you pay has nothing to do with the quality of the perm you get. we used the best perms at penneys and at great clips, and guess what? penneys charged 25 bucks more and it was the same perm and i was the same stylist ! hmmmmm. anyways, if you want one get one for your type of hair, and use large rods (orange for wavey or purple or white depending on your hair length and the size curl you want), listen to the stylist when she recommends products and tells you to alert her if you need anything during the process (ie a rod feels tight, something is burning etc.) problems can be avoided if you and the stylist work together, you will know when she starts to prepare to do it if she asks you a lot of questions about curl type, etc. if she is for you, personally if i were to go to a random place I would ask if they used matrix perms cuz i love them, and also ask if you could have someone very experienced such as a manager, no harm to that, plan on tipping at least 20% cuz perms are timely, and a good stylist is way worth the extra $. Good luck ! Any other ?'s

they're both beautiful, yet quickly seems the perfect, and quite of having a perm which will maximum in all probability damage/harm your hair, purchase a 10 dollar curling iron at walmart/drugstores,that is more less expensive and also you do not could pay 50 funds each and every time you opt for to twist your hair.

I got a perm when I was in 7th grade... bad idea! But it really depends on your face type. See I have a square face so if you have a square face also, think the idea through. But if you don't go for it, you don't know what it will look like until you try it.

If you get a perm go to a good salon. No offense to supercuts etc, but IMO when it comes to perms you get what you pay for. I have never seen a good cheap perm.
