If your parents are determined to give you a good education through this experience, then yes, it's a good idea. You'll be able to not be abused that way (yes, bullying is really a form of abuse), get a decent education, be able to hang out with others who don't feel good about themselves by being nasty to others...
Anybody who says you are going to lose all social skills or not have any friends doesn't know what they're talking about. Ask your parents for help in finding homeschooling support groups so you can meet up with other homeschooled kids--and see what it's like to be around people who respect each other.

It depends on you. Are you motivated? Do you think you would enjoy being homeschooled?
I loved homeschooling. I was in public school for 11 years, but for the last two years of high school, I was homeschooled.
If you decide to go with homeschooling, set up a realistic daily, weekly, and monthly schedule, or have your parents set it up for you. Make sure you can get it done.
I do have to admit that homeschooling is not for everyone, but it is worth a shot.
And the ones that said no obviously have never been homeschooled because you still run into a lot of different people when you homeschooled--nice and mean. And it is possible to make friends, but you have to be willing to make friends and meet new people. Don't let your past scare you from that.
If you have any questions, feel free to email me at thawk5il@yahoo.com.
Either way, I hope it gets better for you.

hiya! i replaced into unquestionably homeschooled from third grade until eventually 10th grade. I absolutly enjoyed being homeschooled it allowed me to have a lot flexibilty (i ought to bypass and do my activities prepare on an identical time as others have been at school, or perhaps then i might end my schoolwork by way of a million or 2. there replaced into infrequently any homework. I felt like I have been given a terrific guidance in the middle matters (english/grammar, math, historic previous and technology) inspite of the undeniable fact that upon entering into the traditional public college placing for 10th grade i replaced into waiting to discover different training that i could not are growing to be at domicile like a foreign places language. There are pluses and minuses to the two circumstances. In a public college you may connect golf equipment be an element of a set, be around different scholars, . inspite of the undeniable fact that once you're at domicile you have become a miles greater effectual guidance with the aid of guy interest and that i assumed the cirriculum replaced into greater problematic. At domicile you may tailor your curriculum on your desires (you may take greater math training or particular styles of training that intersest you). you have the liberty to holiday play activities and different issues. Definatly do not rule out being domicile schooled!

I think it's a great idea. I am homeschooled and have been for 5 years. The people who say we don't socialize or get to be around people our age, are usually wrong. I get a lot of interraction and probably more than most people because I do have a lot of time on my hands. I didn't start getting homeschooled because of bullying... but I do think you would benefit from it.

Yes, I do think it's a good idea. The people here who are concerned about "getting ready for the real world" seem to forget that the academics are meant to prepare you for it, which is difficult to focus on when you're constantly under duress.
The violence that goes in schools in the form of bullying is considered criminal behavior in the real world...no one should be taught to live with it.

Home schooling is fine as long as long as you still socialize with other kids. Maybe through some sort of sport or club. Being bullied can't be helping your learning ability at school. Just don't isolate yourself because of it.

To me the key word in your question is "letting". You state that they would be LETTING you get homeschooled. This sounds like you like this option. If that is the case, homeschool may be a very good solution for you.

I'm homeschooled and I'm a normal kid. Just make sure that you have plenty of other activities as well where you can be with your friends (like church, sports, chess club, reading club ect) or your life will become a black, spiraling hole of misery and lonliness. (exageration)
