firing order of oldsmobile motors from 260 up are 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 as it is for chevy motors. only differnts is the rotation of the distributor. for some odd ball reason olds motors rotate the opposite of chevy's so with thats said. looking at the front of the motor with the rotor button pointed towards number one cylinder and top dead center. go counter clockwise in the 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 rotation. 1-3-5-7 on the d/s and 2-4-6-8 on the passenger side.

What engine is in it?

Regardless, the firing order will be cast on the front water jacket of your intake manifold.
