Well, I think their beliefs sound like science fiction; and their official attitudes about women and sex are straight out of the 19th century.
However, every Mormon I've ever met was a really nice, likable, delightful person.

The Mormons I have known are typically very nice, have a family spirit, are caring and helpful and giving.
The problem is not with the Mormons, it is with the Mormon church. The Mormon church would have those outside the church believe it is a Christian church - the truth is it is not. Although they believe in Jesus, they also believe that each one of us can gain godhood - that is against basic Christian principles. The Book of Mormon has be rewritten, the the rules governing the people have changed innumerable times. The basic foundations have changed, polygamy being the most visible. But even the accounts of Joseph Smith's visitations differ - sometimes it is three persons who visited him, sometimes it is an angel and Jesus. He claimed he could read hieroglyphics, that when accurately translated by an Egyptologist, did not match at all the translation given by Smith. As a woman, the idea of being permanently pregnant in order to populate a planet with my offspring scared the poop out of me - twice was enough, thank you very much.

Why do you ask?
Who's asking?
I think they are a religious cult, and I think the one so called angel, that Smith claimed he saw was the devil himself.
Ofcourse the devil will come as an angel of light. though he is a great deceiver.
I think the whole Mormon church is deceived.
I fell into the Mormon trap for a very short time.
Then when they tried to explain to me that I could eventually become a god/ God and have my own Universe or planet to rule, or that I had to do alot of great works to get into heaven, or that there are 3 different heavens for those who believe more or are better, than the rest.
Man I was all done after they told me it was a sin to drink Coffee or Beer, let alone all the rest.
you can have caffein, or other things they say you can not, it may become wrong if you over indulge in alcohol or whatever.
God Loves all of His children equally.
He gave up Jesus, His One and only Son to die on the cross for every mans (mankinds) sin.
The way into heaven is neither by works nor deeds, but by repentence, (turning away from sin) and giving your life over to Jesus Christ.
Believe on Him and you shall have eternal life in Paradise.
No I believe the Mormons are truly lost.
And it is too bad to as many Mormons I have met are, or seem to be, very nice people.
I suppose nice people go to hell everyday.
I suppose that is a bummer.
But either you are for God or you are against Him.
Being nice will not get you into heaven.

Well thats some of what I think about em.
I suppose I don't hate em, I just wish someone would tell them the truth.

The Mormon religion was founded less than two hundred years ago by a man named Joseph Smith. He claimed to have received a personal visit from God the Father and Jesus Christ and told that all churches and their creeds were an abomination. Joseph set out to impose a brand-new religion that claims to be the “only true church on earth.” The problem with Mormonism is that it contradicts, modifies, and expands on the Bible. Christians have no reason to believe that the Bible is not true and adequate. To truly believe in and trust God means to believe in His Word. And all Scripture is inspired by God, which means it comes from Him (2 Timothy 3:16).
Although Mormons are usually friendly, loving, and kind people - they are involved in a false religion that distorts the nature of God, the Person of Jesus Christ, and the means of salvation.

My brother is a Mormon, so I know a lot of them. They are nice people, and I love how much focus they put on having a happy and close family life.
Their beliefs are to me just like all other religions - false.

I used to be mormon, until I was excommunicated for apostasy, until that time mormons were very nice.....after not so much. I was told I read to much about the history of mormonism and to stop because it was ruining my faith. I was told to trust in the lord and his prophet.... the book of mormon says to not trust in the arm of flesh....very contradicting and a very dishonest church at the core.

they're people. I don't have an opinion one was or another. Do you want me to say what I think about their religion or they as people? I don't know enough about their religion to say anything and even if I did I wouldn't. I think they are people. Thats all that needs to be known.

I think they deserve more respect than other sects of Christianity. They honor all prophets and words of God, not just those their parents tell them to believe.
I also think they're just as wrong as all the other sects of Christianity.
