I want to get my hair cut. Something sporty, cute, maybe a little punk-rocker chic style goin' on. My hair is medium thickness, shoulder length and light brown with highlights that you can barely see anymore. My face shape is a square-heart. Like JoJo. I don't really like bangs, unless they're really long or pushed to the side or both. Spiking is an option, and I like the idea of spiked hair with long bangs in the front, but I'm open to other things. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to dye my hair. My mom might go for dark red highlights, though.
Any suggestions?

Yes, I am caucasian. Light orange highlights woulld also work, anywhere from light orange to dark red, plus any other natural hair color.
I wear glasses-cat-eye ones-and I don't intend to switch to contacts anytime soon.

thats me about 10 months ago. i had the longer side bangs in the front as well, but the front has to be determined by what will look good on you, not someone else.

that sound alot like my hair. i also have thick hair, which is great for this style. tell your stylist to cut your hair with a razor, with the same layers all around. (think of a circle around your head) i use aquage transforming paste which is great to spike a little bit and really emphasis the structure of the haircut. i have a semi-long bang, swept to the side as well, this gives it a little more flair. i get SO many compliments on my hair its unreal. good for you, many people don't have the balls to chop their hair. but alot of girls would look good with it. especially if your face is oval. have fun

i think of pixie cuts constantly look lovable! when I had mine decrease, i had one area of my hair on the front a splash longer than the different. It appeared so candy! no longer in basic terms does it look lovable, yet grown up too. many human beings complimented my new hair variety in college :) i did no longer comprehend what i needed when I went into the salon the two :L I had to ask for a mag to %. out my hair variety, so flow a splash before so which you have time to coach in the process the magazines and choose a variety you like. The hairdresser will enable you to out too in case you tell him what you wanna decide for. good success!

this is hard for me because i do have short but i'm african american and i take it that you're caucasion. and there are different styles but i think spiky har would look nice. but since you have light brown hair, i think blond highlights would go better than dark red.

Well, short with layers is REALLY sporty. I have them. You might want to try long layers.
