Basically I met this amazing guy, who seemed to really like me and I really liked him, unfortunately, he doesn't live in my area, and he kind of seems to like a lot of girls. Yet, I can't get him off my mind, and it's starting to get really annoying, I've tried doing all I can to distract myself, with no avail. Every time I blank out for a second I think about him and my heart starts to beat really fast. So are there any ways to get him off my mind?

Something that works for me is reading He's Just Not That Into You. Even though I've read it before, sometimes I need to pick it up for a "touchup."
Also, I think back to good relationships in my past and try to compare the current guy's behavior to how past guys acted. For example, my most recent boyfriend rarely called me, even though I told him it was important to me that he call. This made me realize that I deserve more from a relationship!

Been there, done that. Find another "amazing guy". Or better yet, obsess over a celebrity. When I have that problem I just think of Bam Margera or the guys from Avenged Sevenfold and Simple Plan lol. Ya know, try to figure out who's hotter? It's fun AND it gets your mind off that guy. Of course, some people have a hard time obsessing over celebrities... so I dont know... but it comes easily to me lol!
