No Way !!!! I've tasted probably 25 different beers made in the USA and quite frankly all were pretty ordinary.
I've also tasted probably close to 200 different beers from Europe.
I have to say that over all we here in Australia are spoilt when it comes to the quality of beer made here

My top 5 not necessarily in order tasted over the last 30 years would be

1 Coopers Pale Ale (Green Label)
2 Guiness Draught (on Tap in Dublin)
3 Coopers Aged
4 Cascade Lager
5 Kilkenny Cream (Also made by The Guiness Company)

If I was told that I had one beer drinking session left in my life
I would ask for 2 pints of each of the above

LOL
I notice I've had 2 thumbs down..........sorry but taste is a personal thing, so if you are from the US and don't like my personal take on US beers, hey it is only personal taste.
Mind you nearly every American friend I've got (nearly 30 now), who has come to Australia on holidays or now lives here says the same thing about Australian beer compared to US brands.

This is a publicity slogan from back in the thirties. Budweiser is the king of beers because they pay someone else to come up with this nice quote. Corona is not the king of beers because they don't hire the correct marketing company by that time...but I stiil like the vacation publicity work that they have.

No Budweiser is not the king of beers. I only drink Budweiser when I run out of Miller Lite and am to drunk to go to the store!

Its just marketing, budweiser is one of the worst beers i've ever had, up there with Natty Ice and the Beast......

if you want good beer, you should try a German import like Weihanstephaner, Spaten, or Paulaner. Now THOSE are good beers!!

Hell no! An ice cold Corona with lime is priceless! I also like Heineken a lot... but Corona is still better.

I think they are the largest brewer in the world.

I can't see any other reason to call themselves King of Beers. It certainly isn't the taste.
