My little sister has hair like u do(shes sixteen) and he or she bought a straightner at Walgreens or the different drugstore (some supermarkets carry them too) it value her $18 and its with the help of revlon, its all white and has fat ceramic plates which doesnt injury and dry out your hair like non-ceramic straightners do and takes much less time to straighten because of fact the plates are so fat and extensive. it works somewhat good on her hair, yet her trick is she washes her hair, blow dries it then rubs some hair serum on it and then straightens it(on the utmost putting) and rubs a splash extra hair serum on it while shes achieved. the top product: comfortable vibrant hair she would be in a position to certainly run her arms via! It lasts her 5 days in the previous her hair starts finding oily and frizzy.

all straighteners do some sort of damage to your hair, so really, there is no way out. i would recommend something more expensive but if you don't need to do much straightening (say, you just wanted to straighten up a little wave), then the straightener will work fine. however, if you want something that'll really straighten down really curly hair, you should go with something more expensive, because they tend to be better. also, some of the more expensive ones claim they don't burn your hair. they still do, but it's way less than the metal ones.

Well all straighteners are bad, but the ceramic pricey ones are better. I think you know the answer to this question... just save for a while and get a good quality one then you can worry less.

Any straitener will eventually fry your hair if you use it daily and you dont use decent shampoo and/or so kind of hair protector. If you only do it once and a while, it will be fine. A good hair care product, is Paul Mitchell Skini

You are talking about an appliance correct? No there`s no real difference. Most are ceramic, that`s all you need. THe heat up time will vary with price but the 20 dollar range is fine.

well basicly and hair staightner can damage your hair but it can only fry your hir if you straighten your hair every day or if you leave the straightner on you hair on for a priod of time so it doesnt really matter how much the straighner cost it matters how you use it

i have about a $25 or so from Wal-Mart and its the same one my friend uses and i love it. But any straightner you use will damage your hair. Any product, any heat will do things to your hair.

I used this, and it was only $29.00 at my local pharmacy. It really works and did not hurt my hair at all. There is a link that read where to buy.

if you mean a chemical streightener, its fine. i use a $7 one. and if you mean a flat-iron, it doesn't matter how expensive it is, they all damage it. well... so does the chemical. just wash your hair every other day to help reduce damage
