Accomplished nothing? Gordon is the winningest active driver in NASCAR right now. One more win and he ties the great Dale Earnhardt with 76. No other active driver come close. He's won 4 championships. In 1998 he won 13 races tying Richard Petty's modern day record. His longest win streak is 4 in a row in 1998 when he won at Pocono, Indy, Watkins Glenn, and Daytona consecutively. So, if that is considered accomplishing nothing, then what do you consider it is that Earnhardt Jr. has done?
And Cena_Champ...your numbers are completely wrong, I know what I'm talking about, and yes, he does drive an Impala when he drives the Car of Tomorrow.

1998 was Jeff Gordon's best year and is so far one of the most dominant seasons in the modern era (since 1972). He won four races in a row (the most of his career) but also won back to back races 2 other times that year including the final 2. His 13 wins in 1998 is still the modern era record for any driver. The last Chevy Impala to win a race in NASCAR's top series was Wendell Scott's on Dec. 1, 1963 at Jacksonville Speedway.

The last time an Impala won in Nascar is 3/25/07!!! Give Jeff a break and lets just agree to disagree - whether or not you like him is secondary, he's a great driver - very accomplished, and that wasn't the question. I'm not a Tony Stewart fan, but he's a great driver - he's been fast in everything he's ever been in. Give credit where credit is due - I don't like to diss anyone - they've all accomplished something just by getting where they are - whose name is up there - theirs! Most races - not sure 2 or 3 and I think he won like 12 or 13 one year.

Jeff Gordon has accomplished a couple of things in his lifetime.... not to exclude the MULTIPLE championships. The last time an Impala won a race was late 60's and the last time an impala won the championship was 1963 ive been told.the most he won in a season i believe is 5 off of the top of my head... but im a little dusty on trying to remember facts on a driver that no one will look back on and say wow they will just rool their eyes and snarl. lol

Go to Nascar.com and click on Jeff Gordon and you'll find out everything. I don't know his stats by heart. I'm a Tony Stewart fan. Oh and by the way, I really razz my husband because he's a 24 fan...but I have to say someone gave you some WRONG information, Jeff is one of the best drivers on the circuit. He didn't get where he is today by NOT winning races!! And check out where he is on the point standings as of TODAY. This last comment is not meant for the asker--but one of the answers!

Some of you are freaking hillarious. It is ok to not like someone, but seriously. Give a guy his due. Put your jealousy aside for a few mins. Jeff can't drive in traffic? Ok, that is why he has ad to fight his way up the field in about every race in the past two seasons because he cars are not like they once were. The guy is a great driver. And for the person that said he is gay, have fun whacking off tonight while looking at pictures of his model wife you jackass.
