There's no evidence for a god.

If that's hard to understand, just ask yourself "Why don't I believe in lime-green flying elephants?". My stance on god is exactly the same, and for exactly the same reason.

If you do believe in lime-green flying elephants, well, there's nothing more to say then, really, though that would certainly explain why you believe in gods.

There is no evidence that there is a god. No evidence essentially means that someone made it up. It is not reasonable to believe in things without any evidence. You would be stuck with every ridiculous thing that human imagination could come up with.

Not believing in god is the same as not believing in Zeus, Odin, Santa, Anubis, the Tooth Faerie, and all the thousands of others since the evidence is exactly the same. I would be no less surprised if someone found evidence of Bacchus than I would be if they found evidence of your god.

Are referring to any particular god or any god concocted by conniving men of early and present times? Should you believe in god, any god who commands you to kill under his name? Who promises everything to the faithful, the same faithful who cannot testify to the fruits of those promises. Have you recently heard from a suicide bomber that he had such a fun time cavorting with the virgins he was promised?

Well, presumably you don't believe in Thor, Zeus, Quetzlcoatl, Osiris or any of a thousand other deities that have been worshipped by primitive peoples in the past.

Why don't you believe in any of them? Probably because there's absolutely no evidence that any of them exist.

We're all atheists, I just don't believe in one more god than monotheists do.

I see no credible evidence for gods. Nor does it make any sense that the origin of complexity, depends on a greater prior complexity.

I don't think it's impossible for there to be a god, i just don't believe in yours or any other god any other religions have.

Because god is a myth unsupported by factual information and it can not be examined and verified..It's as simple as that...there ain't no proof of god, anybody's god, existing...no, god or gods is not the way...science is....
