Most people's bodies can't handle more than 4 hours of tattooing a day. It's not the pain as it is the shock to the body. You might feel like you're good but it can cause some problems for people. I'f you already have had a lot of work done it's like anything else. Your body will get used to that type of shock slowly The longest sesion I've ever seen was my cuz his sitting was 6 hours and they called it off because his body wouldn't stop twiching. He has over 100 Seperate Tattoos.

If you were to sit for 12 hours under the needle you would be physically sick...especially if it were your first shot at things. Most artists wont go over 4 hours.

Sleeves are usually done in stages. I have a half sleeve.

The arms tend to swell with large tattoos, especially when focusing on the underarm. I'd space things out and break things into differnt sittings. That keeps you at your best, and your artist at his/hers.

i guess it depends on what you get but i doubt you could get a whole sleeve in one day. maybe if you had two people working on you and you were just getting a solid color. that seems feasable.
