It's Sunday late afternoon-early evening (4:17 pm) in Whittier, CA (aka the suburbs) and my boyfriend and I are going to eat dinner w/ my parents and then go have some fun. The only problem is that we don't really know where to go. Any suggestions? Right now traffic over the 60 W/101 is great and I feel we should take advantage of the fact that right now it only takes 15 minutes to get into the city, am I right? But should we just take a drive or really have a destination? Anyone know of some cool places to go to?

I'm not so young, but still remember what it was like. How about these ideas:

Drive to Santa Monica or Malibu. Catch the sunset at either the Santa Monica Pier or Gladstone's.

You don't HAVE to drive into LA. How about going south, to Newport or Huntington?

Downtown Disney, maybe?

Universal City Walk?

How about Old Town Pasadena? That's another cool place to go.

Have fun!
