I 2 have suffered from anxiety; just 30 minutes ago i had an episode;u feel tired and drained because there is not enugh oxygen in the brain; the adrenaline is pumping sometimes faster than the heartrate and the body has to catch up; so if u r not in the hospital to be calmed you are handling the stress well take some me time for ur self relax and take deep breaths.

Eva, I feel your pain. Back when I was in my teens I used to get them regularly and when I got them I literally thought I was going to die. I mean I got the sweats, tunnel vision and it felt like I was outside of my body. The other funny part about the attacks is that I barely remember them, it was almost like a blackout after you drink too much. I agree with what some other person wrote about the adrenaline. I believe these attacks take a lot out of you both physically and mentally as I recall. They used to exhaust me. I am 41 years old now and hopefully there are meds you can take now. I remember quite a few embarrassing moments in Jr. and Sr. High School when they hit and for some reason I grew out of the attacks.
