I'd say 1 teaspoon; garlic cloves are behemoth anymore!

Oh, it's about half a teaspoon or a bit more, if it's minced.

Equivalents:

A head or bulb of garlic usually contains about 10 cloves. 1 clove = 1 teaspoon chopped garlic = 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic = 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder = 1/2 teaspoon garlic flakes = 1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic = 1/2 teaspoon garlic juice

A little less than a teaspoon.
It will not affect the recipe if your off a little. If you are not fond of garlic, go for a lesser amount.
I love garlic enhanced food, I usually add 1/2 more than a recipe asks for.
Bon Appetit !

Use a tablespoon.

Actually, use as much as you want. It's better that way.
