Isn't it funny that Muslim terrorists would be considered "conservatives"?

Not funny - scary. I'm scared because in some ways, Muslim terrorists don't seem too different from extremely conservative Christians of the type who would use violence to get their own way.

When most Americans use say they are "Conservative" they really mean "Reactionary." They may think their ideas are pro-working class but in essence they combine elements of feudalism, capitalism, nationalism, fascism, or other ruling class characteristics. "Conservatives" like Bob Barr think the president should be impeached for illegal electronic spying on Americans without a warrant or court supervision. "Conservatives" like Congressman Eric Cantor think the president can do anything he wishes and all Congress is there for is to raise money for the president to spend as he sees fit. Barr is a conservative. Cantor is a fascist, or perhaps a feudalist, certainly an agent of plutocracy and corporate oligarchy, but he is not a conservative. most Americans mean "Conservative" the way Germans meant "Conservative" in 1933. Certainly they use the word "Patriotism" in the same way: blind allegiance to the supreme leader of the oligarchy.
