Im not sure how you know this guy or what your current relationship is with him but I would wait. I believe girls love to flirt (I am a guy) and I think you should take full advantage of this natural opertunity. Eventually if he doesnt take the hint casually ask him to do something and then make sure he knows you like him (if a girl likes me I know I am very likely to like her back). Dont be too agressive but definitely dont be passive in your pursuit of this guy.

Go for it!! If you like him, then you shouldn't have to wait. And, you might be able to trick you're way around it... Ask him to start hanging out, or doing stuff together... Thats how i started my relationship 9 months ago and it's perfect. At first, i wasn't sure if i was looking for a girlfriend... Well, thats not true, i just found it hard to settle down. BUT, i commited myself and im happy i did. Show him your interested, and if you don't feel right about asking him out first, just throw yourself out there, make him see that you're really interested.

Sure! People that tell you to wait for him are crazy, what if he never gets the nerve to ask you out? Totally ask him out! My junior year I asked a guy to prom and he told me that he would have never gotten the nerve but said he really wanted to ask me. Go for it, it takes a lot of nerve but you can do it!

If they have an old fashioned thing at your school called a Sadie Hawkins dance then it's ok. Otherwise he'll think you are cheap, easy, desperate, and that will be the last date with him.

Try that with his rival, and he'll ask you out for sure.

Of course. I've never actually asked a woman out on a date. They always have asked me, and I just pick and choose the best European women out there.

You can ask him and theres nothing wrong with that. Some guys like making the first move, but they never take a hint! :-) I have done it before and I would do it again.
