Definitely R & S.
1 - I don't have to get up early in the morning and drive somewhere to check out R & S. I can stay home in my jammies and use the computer any time of the day or night.
2 - On R & S, I can answer back. Most churches don't approve of audiences who answer back. Even the ones that encourage this wouldn't like my answers [g].
3 - R & S has many varied messages to give people. All I've ever heard at church is the same old three things, over and over:
1) You are an evil sinner and you're just not good enough.
2) Sex is dirty; don't do it.
3) Give us money.

That depends upon the question asked here and the sermon delivered at church. I personally gain a lot from the sermons I hear when I visit my mother's Episcopal church, but the rector is a remarkably good speaker and thoughtful teacher.

I like churches for the sense of community. The buzz of well-being. The old 'peace be with you' thing. Communion. But not being a Christian I find the sermon only strikes a chord when it deals with 'broader' issues.
Whereas here I find myself stimulated to think. So on balance I'd say here.

Depends on who's preaching at church. I've learned a lot from both R&S and from church sermons, too.
Unless poor Father G. is preaching. . .and then I'll take this place hands-down.

It all depends upon what church you go to. The sermon at the church I attend was great today! http://www.oneplace.com/ministries/enduring_truth

On R&S, you become your own god. You read a whole bunch of different answers and you picked out what you like and want to believe. At least in church someone gives you the truth what you want it or not. It is kind of like a reading the Bible. When someone tells you something you can always dismiss it as their own opinion, but when you read the Bible you know it comes from God and so you can't just ignore it.

At church, my spirit gets fed. Here I merely try to pass on that which I am learning. Gotta go with church.
