**eat a diet rich in antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids.
consuming foods like citrus fruits, berries and orange or red vegetables (rich in antioxidants), as well as salmon, tuna, walnuts and flax seeds helps form the skin's lipid layer and hold in moisture.
**use a thick, creamy cleanser (avoid using soap, which can be drying). these cleansers have more emollients, which help the skin retain moisture.
**exfoliate once a day. regular exfoliation of dry skin can help keep skin radiant and smooth and help the skin better absorb moisturizers. if your skin is sensitive, use products with gentle exfoliators like oatmeal.
**use the right facial moisturizer daily you need a light (read: nongreasy) lotion for face that offers an SPF of at least 15. try bioelements year round protector. www.bioelements.com (i don't work for bioelements but i love their products)
**when you wear makeup, use a moisturized foundation.

Face cream, lotion, or something. If that does not work try Vaseline, but be careful! Not too much, it can clog your pores and cause a breakout. But what are you doing to your face? Washing with hard soap?- try Dove. Using alcohol or peroxide? Stop. This stuff is for people with oily skin. It seems like your skin is dry. Try washing your face with water only at night and morning. At night after washing, rub a moisterizer on and sleep with it. Do the same in the moring. I hope your skin becomes radiant!

well... if it's SUPER dry, you can try this stuff.. it's called Aquaphor, and Eucerin makes it, it's a little greesy, but other than that, it works wonders, and it doesn't go away, plus, i'm pretty sure it fixes dry skin, so you won't get it anymore.

Make sure you aren't using any products with mineral oil in them. That hardens your skin not softens it.
Find a regime (hydrating wash, toner and serum/cream)
I am very happy with Arbonne's nutrimin c re9 -
my skin is glowing.
