less chemicals and manipulation...i.e. no perms or colors or gels and avoid combing or brushing. use your fingers to style. also try henna, works wonders and will give your hair some color.

Hey there, I asked the same thing on here not too long ago, and a lot of people told me coconut oil works. I haven't gotten any yet so I can't say that it does work, but i've heard you can buy it at beauty places like Sally and Ulta. I meant to go today, but wasn't really in the mood to do anything, so will try to pick it up next weekend. I'm trying to grow out my hair as well...good luck to you. =)
