It is in a can. Do I have to let it sit for days or is their something I can do to get it flat today?
Any ideas?

Hi DEB- I don't want to take a chance, it is a pizza dough recipe and the active yeast may be affected.

shake up the beer then let it settle down, repeat several times and you should have a flat beer.

News Flash!

The beer does not have to be flat.

:-) ~!

That's a myth.

I put bubbly beer all the time into my carrots and dill recipe and it comes out the same - or better. I also put it into my beer batter recipe bubbles and all. No problem.

In fact, within a few seconds of hitting the heat the bubble pop anyway.

Yes you can stir it a little to make it flatter.

That's an old tradition meaning use the old stuff!

**** ----> Unless you are making soemthing involving RISING like a souffle? Are you? Well then the carbonation makes absolutely no difference.

Have fun!

Beer can go flat if you agitate it or warm it. You can try stirring a small amount in a large glass or pan. It'll foam up so be ready for a mess. You could try warming it on the stove as well.
