it is my belief that the athiest out number ..... it is hard to believe in a higher being in these days and times. I will be interested to see what the answers are to your ? Are you taking a poll? lol

Note the use of the term "historical". As we've developed and learned more about the world, more people are becoming atheist.

Lets see Hitler vs. Einstein, Helen Keller vs John Wayne Gacy. I guess they aren't counterparts but I can't think of an atheist serial killer, can you?

there haven't been as many atheists in the past because a lot of people were forced to believe in god, or gods under threat of death
