It's been a long time since someone stood in awe of me, thanks!
Did you know there's been a boat, around the length of a football field on Mount Ararat photographed?
Yes, I believe everything in the bible.
I have studied Christian apologetics for years. I also have a science degree. There's been many archaeological finds from bible times showing:
The bathes from King David and his palace/house
The tomb of Caiaphas who was Pharisee who had Jesus arrested
Evidence of a world wide flood
Evidence of dinosaurs and man together
Non christian evidence of the man Jesus who had a following of "Christians"
And so much more! I have many books on these subjects. There is evidence if one looks.
God bless you hon

The days you are thinking of are 6 creative periods of time. This is shown here:
Genesis 2:4
These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
Here God lumps all the creative process together and talks about it as the DAY he created everything.
Remember the old man that sits back and tells us how life was in his day... Did he only have one day?
The Flood;
There are flood legends in every culture on earth. Maybe you are being to judgmental. Could a comet of large asteroid have come close enough to cause tides of such magnitude that this is more than just an impossible story? You can't say you don't know.. To say that it's just so impossible we are all fools for believing it makes you close minded.. So get mad hate me. You anger doesn't change the way I believe or take away my reasons for faith.. It does make be pity you in the hatred you seem to carry with you all the time.... Jim

I do not need your awe. I do not need anything from you. Call me what you will. Stupid, whatever. Jesus said that I would be ridiculed and persecuted for His names' sake. I count that as an honor. As a Christian, I do not have the option of disbelieving what the Word of God tells me. With God, all things are possible, no matter how impossible it seems to your limited mind's capacity. You think in such a temporal way, that you cannot fathom the awesome capacity at which the Lord works.
So keep right on thinking that you are so far above Christians in your mentality and reason. It is all you have.

You are appalling. Really. I'm questioning your intelligence at the moment. Yes, I believe the Bible, completely, all it of it, no exceptions. I find it just as amazing that someone can look at this world, as well as the scientific evidence, and NOT believe in creation. It is positively absurd that someone could possibly believe that everything in this world - with all it's detailed complexity and intricacy, where if one thing was off it would all collapse - came from soup made of rocks. It's ridiculous. I really mean that. If you were to truly research all the scientific 'evidence' supporting evolution, you would find that ALL OF IT has been proven to be false, fraudulent or speculation. There is NOT ONE piece of hard fact that supports evolution. Not one, and yet like a idiot you still choose to believe in it simply because you refuse to even consider creation.
So many people who believe in evolution keep criticizing Christians saying that it is we who are not open to understanding a different option. It seems to me that the evolutionists are so stuck on NOT believing creation and they are guilty of the same thing you accuse us of. Why don't YOU consider a different option, hm?
You know what I stand in awe of??? You and others like you. That you lack the intelligence to get off your high horse and take a look around. You are what is making this world worse. You are destroying the world our children will grow up in, and yes, you are the ones that God weeps for because you turn away from Him and it saddens Him that because of your choice, you will burn forever. I pity you.

Yes, I believe the Bible.
I believe the creation day was 7,000 years each.
This is because at the end of the 6th day God rested and the Bible shows that the rest day is not over. It started approximately 6,000 years ago and if you add the 1,000 year reign of Christ, it of course comes to 7,000 years also.
The word day has many meanings in the Bible, sometimes it is 24 hour day, or 1,000 year day or 7,000 year creation day.
Websters on line gives more definitions.
The earth's crust reveals proof of Noah's flood. Especially where they have found frozen together all sorts of animals.
If God can create a universe, and turn dust into many creations that live, I imagine a little book for us was easy for him to inspire and protect.
I suggest you study biology.

The Bible includes really a huge determination forms of literature from only real (e.g. Kings and Acts) to highly pictorial (e.g. Psalms and Revelation). It calls for easy common experience to differentiate both. modern atheism has a tendency to anticipate that the total Bible must be taken "surely actually", that is an incorrect attitude.

I believe that the bible is the unerring word of God.if there is something i dont understand, it is lack on my part not God,s
for he says " for my thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways are not your ways".
you can not understand the infnite with the finite.
and if im wrong in the end, what have i lost? because of my belief I have" The peace that passeth understanding."On the other hand if I,m right? you,ll have the rest of eternity to wish you had been as stupid as i am.
Really though, a smart person would study the word of God ,praying for wisdom.even if your intent is to prove it wrong. You do want to be sure. right?

6, not 7 days...and it's may not be 24 hr days. A real day is actually 24 hrs and 15 minutes according to human measurement.
Scripture states the 'bottoms of the ocean opened and floods of water shot up for forty days' just like the TSUAMI flood in SE Asia.

I believe it is true in the framework it was written. I am a Christian. But I believe a lot of the Old Testament especially is symbolism in that it was written within a confined culture and in a narrow geographic reference.
Also, one has to take into consideration the time and limited understanding of scientific things that were in place when it was written.
This is my opinion and in no way to take away from the beliefs of others. :)

You should talk. You believe that we came from a rock 3.5 billion years ago. Talk about stupid.
Every major branch of science supports the belief that the Earth is young, that life is intelligently designed, that there was a worldwide Flood, and that dinosaurs didn't live "millions of years ago". So nyah. :P
