* Does the bible mention unicorns? *
Yes,
I had thought they had taken that Unicorn stuff out already.
Now folks are saying unicorn is an error in The Bible.
The Unicorns probably did not want to come on board because of those lions, bulls and the possiblility of being turned into horns.
This is all very sad, poor Unicorns.
The Bible Numbers 23:22
God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.
The Bible Numbers 24:8
God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.
The Bible Deuteronomy 33:17
His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth:
The Bible Job 39:9
Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?
The Bible Job 39:10
Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?
The Bible Psalm 22:21
Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
The Bible Psalm 29:6
He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.
The Bible Psalm 92:10
But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
The Bible Isaiah 34:7
And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.
Have a pleasant day.

The Authorised Version of the Bible in English, known far and wide as the King James Version, mentions unicorns. In fact, the word which is translated nine times as "unicorn" or "unicorns" is the Hebrew re'em. This Hebrew word is translated as "ox" or "wild ox" in every other English version of the Bible (including those translated before the King James).
That's what re'em means: ox. NOT "Unicorn". It's an unfortunate and poor translation into English.
The Hebrew word for unicorn actually Had-Keren. The Hebrew word for "one" is 'echad'. The usual name for a unicorn in almost any language is "one-horn"

The King James Version mentions unicorns. It also mentions a lot of other 'animals' which don't exist. As more modern translations were produced, 'unicorn' became translated to other animals. Namely, animals which exist.

Yes, it does, but alas! It was probably referring to the rhinoceros. The unicorn is a symbolic animal, representing purity and innocence, so was often used in religious artwork.

Yep. The goat herders that wrote it had some pretty weird ideas about animals.
