When you pick them off of the bush they are blue, but when you get them wet or cook them they do turn a purplish blue color.

BUT... I agree with everyone else blueberries do looke blue, not purple.

In botanical world there is no purple only blue. I know that sounds like I'm being sarcastic but its true.
