i personally dont think so at all, i just wanted to know what others thought.

Obsession? or Like? or feeling like you are in Love?
You cant truly know how much you like a person as a person until you get to know them. physical attraction is different then love.
I used to have this girl I really had a crush on and when I finally met her, she was such a dud (personality wise) that I was no longer attractted to her.
you have to really get to know someone to know or see if you like them on all facets of their looks, personality and etc..
people are very complex.

If you like someone but you don't know him or her personally, you don't like who that person might really be. Not knowing someone personally allows you to make lots and lots of assumptions about their personality. All you have to go on is what they look like and how they present themselves to the world. When it comes to a celebrity, that's just fine - their public persona is part of their job. However, when it comes to interpersonal relationships, where you could come to know someone that you like, you could be in for a lot of disappointments if you aren't realistic. Looks can be very misleading and many people, in public, are very different than how they are in private. We do a lot of things alone or when comfortable with someone that we would never do at the grocery store or in line for a movie. Just a couple things to consider.

No to LIKE someone, you don't have to personally know them. You could be attracted to them physically, ect. To LOVE someone, yes, you need to know them personally lol

no. haven't u ever made friends over the internet?
one of my very best friends i met this way.. and never met face to face.
i think that people are more apt to being them selves when they are' protected' by the computer..
maybe i wouldn't like them if i were around them,, i can't say..
but no, you don't have to know someone 'personally' to like them.
only to know the person...

No, not at all. Lots of people fall in love with people they don't personally know. It's sort weird, but it's definitely normal.

i think liking someone with out knowing them is called being in lust with them. you like the idea of them, but that isn't reality. to be in a relationship that is going to work you are going to have to get to know someone.

no, i don't know the President but i like the way he talks and his personality...he is #1 in my book...i also like BO and Hillary...even though they are Democrats..its ok with me.
