Lets see a constitutional amendment preventing them from marrying each other because they will raise brainwashed children.

So Rich, I guess it is ok to call someone an abomination?

LOL! Yea, I have seen some of that "higher standard"!

I am a Christian and I do not treat a homosexual any different than I treat any other person that I know. Why would you say such a thing? I generally discuss religion with those who are interested and leave those who are not alone in that matter. I do believe that homosexual acts are sinful but so are a number of other things that our neighbors do. I attempt to spend my time reading, studying, and obeying GOD's WORD as much as I am able. Have a great evening and a wonderful week!
Thanks,
Eds, True Christian

EDIT: Good answer Victor! Thank you, Eds.

you're actually not being undemanding for the reason which you're asking your grandson to settle for 2nd classification citizenship. you're utilising your non secular ideals and forcing them on him. That inherently isn't undemanding. this is great you like and settle for him yet purely for the reason which you do not kill him does not make you desirable. it is not "black and white" as an argument. i'm specific he respects your ideals yet being in a united states that's meant to grant freedom of religion and equality, you will desire to understand the place he's coming from. They used to not enable blacks and whites to marry, now we see that's silly. does not you want your grandson in a loving, trustworthy, compassionate, giving dating particularly of fleeting moments of intensity? does not he deserve each and every thing because of the fact he's your grandson? in my opinion, i don't think of Christ could approve because of the fact the regulation of the land forbids mix of religion and politics and this venture does that. How could you sense if Hindu human beings took over and informed you your marriage grew to become right into a sham and because you have been Christian you would be able to desire to not get married, yet you will have a "civil union". How could you sense? replace: i admire the type you single me out devoid of answering my question. specific i understand what Christ could think of as i grew to become into raised a Christian and nevertheless have faith he's God and that He loves all and sundry regardless. He additionally reported one sin isn't worse than yet another so judging your grandson is purely as undesirable as something you're saying he will do. people are actually not desirable and God is conscious that so besides the shown fact which you think of homosexuality is a sin, i've got faith that's organic and genuine. As a bisexual woman i will assist you recognize this: My dating with God and my dating with human beings have by no skill suffered and that i understand i visit be in heaven because of the fact God truly does love gays, will you be there? additionally you're complaining approximately somebody stating race yet you're utilising the "blame the white persons" bullcrap to discriminate against your grandson. that's shameful my costly.

Are you kidding? The cries of persecution are rampant now. All because they are no longer allowed to stick their religion in places it didn't belong in the first place.

I wouldn't try it, if I were you. Ya see, in the Bible, Jesus said "Blessed are they who are persecuted in my name," or something like that. Christians LIKE to be persecuted, they think it gets them cheap martyrdom. Kind of ironic, considering they're the ones doing most of the persecuting and proselytization. ^_^

True Christians treat all their brothers and sisters in god the same. With love and compassion, the same way Jesus treated people. Homosexuals can be saved as well as all others, what causes homosexuals to become that way ? God never wanted man to be without a mate. There had to be a female for mankind to multiply. There would have been two distinct species of humans had god desired same sex partnerships. Men would have reproduced men, and women would have reproduced women. It was not part of gods plan for things to be that way. If it was the deviants from each sex would be attracted to yet another species. A man or woman is not complete without an opposite sex mate. Not just for sexual purposes either. What attracts men to other men ? women to other women ? There is no biblical answer other than satans undermining of all thats godly, one other answer might be found in the necronomican.
God doesn't make mistakes, Satan works overtime trying to confuse people and spoil gods plan for each of us. We are all short in some way of the glory of god as since Adam and Eve we have been burdened with the choices between good and evil. True to his word god will persecute the wicked and remove evil forever. Christians want to save as many as possible from the wrath of Armageddon and the forever condemnation and burning of wicked souls. Does that constitute persecution ? When a Christian goes overboard in their conversion attempt, they can often drive their listener farther from salvation. That isn't what god desires or what Jesus taught the disciples in spreading the gospel. The enemy confuses lies with truth and homosexuality is just one example of Satan's grip on human souls. Homosexuals might not be wicked in many measures but they are straying from salvation by living outside of gods plan. It is their souls that Christians are trying to save and I don't see that as a bad thing at all. Religion cannot be forced upon anyone, for it to work one must embrace the word of god and choose to beleive. Many Christians go to church, but dont do, live, and become a church. All are welcome in my church and they themselves will embrace the word in their own way and of their own choosing. If the bible was, in the end, found out to be just a well written novel, and there is no hereafter, life under the values it teaches is still a better life than one filled with sorrow and turmoil. I don't condemn homosexuals but do not believe their behavior is a threat nor a desire for me personally. I forgive all that give this a thumbs down and will pray for you. It isn't taught in my church to hate anyone for their beleifs, but to be accountable for ones own actions. In closing I also beleive if some Christians set a better example of themselves, others would be more attracted to their views and lifestyle.

Ammended due to complaints from a few readers.

I just read that question you posted the link for. The person that posted it is turning the Gospel message of Christ upside down by using it to spread hate. Jesus told us to love our neighbors. Some of my neighbors are homosexuals. If they and others have a neighborly attitude towards myself i would be happy. What she is doing is creating and spreading hate in the name of Christ. Doing the opposite of Jesus but doing it in His name is actually directly anti-christian. I don't at all agree with such behaviors that baltantly violate the Golden Rule

Frankly, it's my hope that nobody meets the fate of how badly the LGBT community is often treated because this is the best example of cruelty and unkind behavior and it's appalling. Gleeful hatred of a group of people because you perceive their behavior somehow beneath you, or they think it's "icky". However, so shall ye sow, so shall ye reap... and the harvest is always bigger than the seeds planted... here's to hoping a few people wake up fast.

I am a spiritual Christian, and I for one believe that only them without sin should be casting the stones. We are to condemn not, unless we want to be condemned. And only GOD knows what HE is working on in each individuals life. Take care and may GOD bless you.

Persecution by just the mere mention of Jesus name in some countries and by some people even in America, some by my own family.... critisize and malign me for my beliefs in other countries =beheaded once asked if a Christian or not.

Yes homosexuals have their persecutions, everyone for that matter have their persecutions for their faith beliefs and their life choices. Jewish people persecuted and tortured by Hitler and people being raped just because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's not for you to say who is or is not persecuted "enough".

Now that a law has been passed in UK making discrimination against gays illegal in the provision of goods and services the Christians are whining that they are now being persecuted because they can no longer practice their overt discrimination against gays...
