the expression love and lights,is there a religious origin to this saying,if so what religion?

I've heard both used in a religious context to describe God but never at the same time for anything else other than that.

It sounds like something someone would say around Christmas time.

it's "love and light" not "love and lights", and it's used in a lot of new age, spiritualist and wiccan belief systems. It's simply a blessing of good things.
