I'm 20, when I was 16 I was 260 LBS, standing at 6'2.
I lost weight pretty much without noticing, I ate pretty much fruits+veggies and a peice of clean meat at night for protein, and for exersise I played DDR ALLLL THE TIME (I was in love with the game) It burned so many calories and at the same time it was so FUN!

112 pounds at 5'1" is perfect! Who are these idiots that are calling you fat? You're the exact size I was when I was in high school many years ago. I look at old photos and only WISH I could be 112 pounds again! I'm now much older and wiser - I'm not fat but I'm heavier than 112 pounds but I eat healthy meals, make good choices and exercise often. You'd be surprised what exercise and cutting out a few snacks can do. Don't be hard on yourself because of others. The boyz that are calling you names aren't even worth thinking about. Nice boyz will enjoy going out with you because you're intelligent, energetic, happy, outgoing... these are much better attributes than being thin. Keep a positive attitude. People (boyz) pick up on that! Stay on the smart side of things... take stairs instead of elevators... walk instead of driving... ride a bike.... drink lots of water. You're only 14 - concentrate on school more than boyz. Most boyz your age aren't mature enough to appreciate a nice girl - wait a few years until THEY grow up a bit! :o) I'm a real mom... First of all your not fat because I know this girl that weighs 152lbs and is 14 also you just have some fat but it doesn't mean your fat plus no matter how thin you are you will have some fat because your body needs it.Start by eating healthy also try to join a sport or two that you know you enjoy so you won't get bored.And always remember that it will take some time and work to get the look you want but it's worth it so don't give up too early!And after you acquire the look you want keep eating healthy and exercising!

Start brisk walks once a day, for 15-20 minutes.
Skip eating after 6:30 pm.
No snaking, no sweets, ( only fruit or veggies)
eat smaller amounts of whatever is served, no not go for 2nds.
112 is still a good weight, don't try to get skinny-er just to look better in some jeans or skirts....there are jeans that look different on everyone.
I prefer the "lucky brand"...cargo pants, make me look thinner.
Just watch what you wear, helps you look better.
A big smile and an easy going nature is better than a skinny snob that is unhappy.

I know exactly how you feel because I used to feel the exact same way. My friends and I are all dancers which makes them really small and skinny, I'm not that skinny though (don't know what happened but anyway) so when we used to take pictures and things i would look at them and feel really self conscious about my weight. I also thought that boys didn't like me because I am bigger, turns out it was probably because I wasn't comfortable with my weight. I wasn't letting my personality show through what i was uncomfortable with. You best way to feel better is to except the way you are and if you want to lose a few pounds to just stay committed to eating healthy and exercising. Good Luck and don't worry about the people that call you fat they are probably just trying to put you down so that they feel more comfortable with themselves because they are self conscious as well!

I'm a guy and I work out a lot/run cross country and track. You really should get some aerobic activity in daily in addition to lots of crunches and pushups. A little everyday really does a lot, but don't expect to lose it all like that. I'm sure there are other less natural ways that arent as good as the natural ones, but you're gonna have to look those up or take suggestions from other people about those ways. I know it's tough when you're overweight. I used to be overweight until I started running and working out and I'm really in shape and happy with my body because I know that it was I that got me where i am.

don't worry about boyz, they're to dumb to understand. start some exercise and healthy eating, drink plenty of water as they saying goes: the more you drink the more you shrink!. so drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. 3 health meals and you'll be fine. I bet your not fat at all. don't go on a diet where you don't eat anything OK,,as that makes it worse for your body in the long run, fad diets are a no no OK, cos you may lose a few pounds but will gain it back plus more. so sensible eating. good luck

If u want to lose weight, it takes discipline on ur part, and dedication, its not hard, u just need to be VERY disciplined and dedicated. you should run atleast 3 times a week, not a lot, maybe a mile, and for the 1st 2 weeks, eat absolutly NO carbohydrates, go to the health food store and ask for water pills, and after 2 weeks, limit ur carbs, and really just try and watch what u eat, u can run 5 miles every day and lose no weight if u dont change eating habits, eating habit is EVERYTHING, but good luck, im 16, i hope u lose ur desired weight before u are my age

You are not over weight! you are still growing and any boy who thinks that you are, ant good enough for you. I am 5'3 and 25 years old, so at 14 you are pretty tall, and will still grow! staying fit and toned you do by being active, but you don't need a diet plan you need self confidence. Being comfortable in your own skin is the most attractive quality you can posses. Look at your self in the mirror and love your every curve, which at your age You wont get curves for a little while. So learn to love your body where you wont be manipulated into falling for the first boy who pays attention to you. Women get into bad situations with guys do to there low self esteem. Girl you where created in the image of God! that makes you the very definition of beautiful! Love yourself as God loves you.
May God bless you, and I hope that you don't just let this advise go in one ear and out the other, b because I know guys who look for girls who don't like themselves and than mistreats them - granted they are jack apples, but don't allow you to become a victim.

Listen to me, at 14 years old, 112lbs, isn't bad! You don't need a diet, or to lose weight, but if you really want to keep yourself at a good weight, then just try to work out a little bit and lift some weights. Ignore the people who call you fat because they are just trying to boost their ego by attempting to destroy how you feel about yourself.
