You need to go to the dentist. You can get a terrible infection in there from not getting all the pieces of the broken tooth out.

you should go to the dentist. In some cases, you might seem to think that pulling a tooth is much better than going to the dentist. You might think that its lesser the hassle and there's no expense. But remember that dentists are trained doctors specializing in oral health. Some teeth are rooted very deep and might cause hemorrahge when u pull it out, or some teeth which are close to the jaw bone might cause complications and deformations when pulled out without the aid of a professional dentist. Furthermore, there is the possibility that there will be a part of the tooth left inside when you try to pull it out yourself and this will lead to infections and other complications. You might need surgery to get it out. So, don't take ur teeth for granted, better go to the right people. Who knows, there might be other options besides "pulling" ur tooth out.

Whatever you do - do not pull on this tooth - you could make it bleed uncontrollably or cause infection. Let it come out in it`s own good time. No need to go to the dentist`s unless it`s very painful or you are going to need a replacement tooth - eg, if it`s at the front of your mouth. Just let nature take it`s course.Washing your mouth out with warm water with salt in will help stop any infection, prevent pain, and loosen the tooth quicker. And have extra pillows and don`t lie on your back in bed for god`s sake so you don`t choke if it comes out during the night !

Do not attempt to pull it out yourself, it may just be hanging there, but if the crack has gone below the gum line it probably means the roots are also damaged.
If you try and pull it yourself you will end up with the crown of the tooth and and the roots still intact inside the gum.
Make an appointment to see your dentist and have him/her extract it for you, they will be able to take an xray and see if the crack has gone down to the root

Save some money and pull it out. Swish peroxide in your mouth a couple of times a day for the next two days. If a problem develops, you'll know it within three days (it will hurt) and you can go to the dentist then.

go to the dentist, you could make it worse. infection from unsterile foreign objects in your mouth and many other problems.. just because its not hurting doesn't mean that bacteria is not at work in your mouth
