WordReference.com is very good... it's not a translation site but rather a dictionary. But it has forums where real Spanish speakers can translate your text and includes all idiomatic pharses in its dictionary.

Babelfish and Freetranslation sometimes give you inaccurate (aka too literal) translations

I find that to be the best, for all languages, especially Spanish. I use it all the time, plus it can translate whole paragraphs instead of just a word.

babblefish.com is very popular. It is a very literal translation, as are most software translators.

PS - I am a teacher....do your own translations! LOL
