Anytime now. Spaying at 6 months is fine...before she goes into her first heat is best. The sooner you spay, the less chance she will develop cervical cancer later on.

6 months is a perfect age. It is best to spay her before her first heat usually between ages 6-9 months - it reduces the risk of mammary cancer later on in life and it spares you having to deal with a heat cycle or a possible accidental pregnancy. There is no truth to the common rumor that a dog should have one heat cycle before being spayed.

The more heat cycles she has the higher her risk of mamary cancer is so spaying before the forst one is better for her health.
It also will make it nicer for you as heat last three weeks and you want to be sure you do not have any unwanted pups.
Spaying at 6 months is perfect. That is when I do our dobermans.

All the dogs I've ever owned have been spayed at six months. I like to get it done before they have their first heat cycle. I think some vets will even do it sooner now, I know they do on cats.

Get her done now as the older she gets the harder the surgery becomes due to lots of reasons. If she comes into season you need to wait about 6-8 weeks after the bleeding stops before she can be done too so get her done before this happens. Younger dogs recover alot better too. Its hard work to spey a fully grown Rotti.

Spaying can begin as early as 9 weeks. If you do not intend to breed her, spay her now before she comes into heat. It will prevent her from having many health problems in the future.

UMM well a younger age is better because she'll be interacting with other male dogs and unless u want puppies I suggest u get her spayed ASAP.

spay...not spade. You can wait a year before spaying a dog.
