Do you think he likes me, and what should I do about it?

Sorry about the length of this.

I'll just list some things that made me start wondering (not really in order, just as I thought of them):

I invited him to a restaurant (with a group of friends, not like a date or anything) and he went with us. He goes every week now, and sits next to me every time.

In one of my classes he used to sit two tables back, but now sits at my table next to me.

He says hi and makes an effort to talk to me when I see him.

When I went with him (and a group of people!) to a movie, he sat next to me and joked around with me a little.

Before we went to the movie I looked over at him and caught him staring at me and he looked away.

My roommate and I are having problems and he is siding with me and tells me all the time how she is a jerk (because he heard her talking about me behind my back once).
He told me he wants to play tennis with me sometime.

I worry he is just being friendly! What can I do to show him I like him, because I'm naturally quiet and shy.

P.S. he is single just so you all know.

Well for one he likes you. So I think you should flirt back, or just asks him does he like you, or just tell him that you like him.

An easy way is to tell ask if you would want to come over sometime, you know alone. If that is too personal then ask if he wants to hang at the mall, beach, whatever you & he both likes. If he doesn't get the hint show or tell him your naturally shy but try not to say it in a weird way. I hope you two work out, you're pretty lucky, he seems sweet. Don't lose him.

He likes you. Almost No guy would invest his time with a girl unless he wanted her in some way. you should talk to him about what he wants in a realtionship and in a girl. By his answer you will understand what he is looking for to see if you even want to pursue anything with him in the first place. You never know this guy could be THE ONE. Julian

He may be quiet and shy too and that may be the reason he hasn't made the first move. Saying something like "I enjoy our time together and we're really good friends. I was wondering if you felt more than that for me? If so, that's great." and see what he says.

1000000% sure he likes you, i mean if you caught him staring at you and you werent talking to him then he definately likes you, and if he gives you more attention than any of the other girls then its a 10000000000%, lol. Make him feel good and not stupid by doing vice verca, flirt a little, be yourself, make him catch you looking at him and just be yourself, like what you have been doing, then you can bag that little puppy, lol good luck x
