You should really talk to your gynecologist about this and ask for some blood work to be done. If you are also tired a lot, very thirsty and need to pee a lot, you could very likely be a diabetic. Also, are you using a pill to treat the infection or a cream? If you are using the pill, doctors are finding that one pill is not enough and often prescribe 2 or 3 to make sure that it is completely gone. It is possible that you simply have an infection that does not clear up completely. Also, if you wear thongs of panties that are not cotton, try switching to all cotton for a while. They allow air to get to those areas and help to keep them drier, which will also help prevent infections. Best wishes.

Stress can cause a lot of problems but I'm not sure about a yeast infection. If you are under a great deal of stress, your adrenal glands are working overtime and your immune system is at risk. Do some things to build up your immune system like taking a pro-biotic which will build up the friendly bacteria in your intestines and will also help soothe your yeast infection.

Many women suffer from frequent yeast infections, which can indicate an underlying metabolic imbalance. It often helps if you change your diet,Try reducing your sugar intake, High sugar diet stimulate the growth of yeast. You might want to try acidophiles culture. Friendly and natural to the intestinal tract, they may also out-compete yeast in the vaginal area . You can buy acidophiles in capsule form in a health food store. When infections occur, try placing a capsule of acidophiles directly into the vagina once a day. If none of this works, you will have to rely on your doctor. It also helps if you wear cotton pantys, that are loose.
