If a kitten is stuck where? In a box - in a tree - in a culvert - in a swimming pool? I know what we did - my daughter found a small kitten in our apartment complex pool, screaming, clawing and thrashing trying to get out of the water. She climbed the fence and grabbed the kitten, who now resides in our apartment. The kitten is about 2 months old and as lovable as can be, sick from the filthy water it was trapped in. My daughter is 41 and I'm too old to repeat my age, but both of us would gladly whip the person who threw a baby animal in to drown.
Now, what was your question again?

Stuck in the birth canal? Than you need to get the cat to the vet NOW! Otherwise, the mother and kitten can/will both die.

During birth??? Take mum/baby to the vet QUICK. It is probably too late for the kitten but he can help the mum cat.

I assume you mean while the kitten is being born...? I would take the cat immediately to the nearest vet.

Being born? This can be very serious for the mother, and the kitten can suffocate and die.
