Hello! I'm not feeling to well. It started last night when I started feeling cold when nobody else was cold. Then, this morning, I woke up and felt sick. I had a sore throat, headache, fatigue, stuffy nose and I felt hot and then cold and then hot and then cold, etc. I also had some body aches. Its six o'clock and I'm freaking tired and I only got up at 8 (which is sleeping in for me!). My stomach feels kinda sore, not like I'm gonna be sick, just enough to make me feel sick. Anyways, I would appreciate your ideas on what I could have.

Thnx!

I'm not sure if I have a fever or not. When I put my hand on my forehead, it feels quite hot, but I haven't checked my temperature with a thermometer.

Its either a bad cold or the flu. Take the day off. You need bed rest.

Take paracetamol for the headache, strepsils for the sorethroat - i find honey and lemon mixed in hot water is also good. Drink plenty of fluids, mainly water, but i recommend lucozade as it is high in energy. Also ask someone to get you vitamin supplements: A, C, D and E, but take no more than 200% of the recommended allowance.

Follow these things, and take a couple of days off and you should be feeling better.

It sounds like a wicked flu that many of my friends have had lately. You should rest and drink LOTS of water. If you're not better in a few days, see a doctor. Advil, Aleve, or Tylenol will help with any fever or aches. Good luck!!

I agree, it's probably the flu. On tv they tell you to see your Dr within 24-48 hrs and he can give you TAMIFLU. I think it's a drug specifically designed for flu. Maybe you should check it out?
