Yes I would, my wife and myself can't have children and we have talked about it. I love children and any love you give them isn't love that is wasted, that goes to any child.

I have thought about adopting, because hubby and I are haveing problems conceiving. But I don't know if I could be a foster parent, I couldn't fall in love with the kids and then have there be a chance that they leave me. I know it would be great for them to have their own home and their own family, but I just couldn't love a child and lose them.

I would be a foster parent in a heartbeat. Problem is I'd be sad to see the kids go away.

I have been thinking about fostering or adopting children since as long as I can remember. I have one biological daughter. I want my children (biological, foster, adoptive) to grow up in a culture of love and acceptance. If you have opportunity and are stable in your life I think it is only right to give back. So many children are in crisis with no one to turn to just breaks my heart.

No thank you! I get too attached to people and foster parenting is a temporary thing. My heart would be constantly broken every time one got taken from me.

Yes. I have been considering this lately and have been sent out all the info. If your in a situation where you can do this and your willing then you should go for it. There are so many children out there that can use our help, but I completely understand why people wouldn't do it too. It is a life changing decision.

Been there. it was interesting, fun, hard, disappointing and rewarding...much like raising your own (which I was doing at the same time). One kid I had legal guardianship for..2 others were fostered and (l) just lived with us because his mom couldn't handle him ...??? I've got my grandson full time now.

I'd actually rather take in a single mom and her child at the same time.
