Wash it everyday. If you do that already, avoid shampoos with any word in the ingrediants with "sulfate". I would try Denorex, because I used to have greasy hair too but now it's better after trying it. Also, don't use conditioner. If nothing works, use soap (as in bar soap. i.e. Dial, Caress, Ivory) to wash your hair. Good luck!

well if you dont wash your hair it becomes gressy. but also if you wash your hair too much it will become oily and gressy too. but i've learned once your hair gets greasy and you wash it again, it becomes greasy again.

Hair is 'dead', and we cannot permanently repair any damage that happens to it. You only get one chance with your hair!
This is why it is so important to treat your hair properly, so as to prevent damage. One essential part of this is to adopt
a good hair care routine, along the lines described below. Another is to keep chemical treatments like perming and bleaching to a minimum, as they can weaken the hair. Weak hair is easily damaged

i read in a website that if you put lemon in your greasy hair it will help it become healthy again. i'm not sure if its some myth but if your really up to getting healthy hair, then you should check that up on the computer.

I have the same problem, wash every second day with the right designed shampoo for oily hair, but don't use a conditioner, they make yr hair oily and flatten it, I use a product designed for oily hair, in a tube, it's "Schwarzkopf's BC hair therapy" very good. Towel dry hair, squeeze and very small amount on yr finger tips and apply to the ends only, then comb as usual,Yr Hairdresser can help you with these hair products,
Good Luck

ok uh i dont know if im the only one who got this fact, but its not healthy to shampoo and conditioner your hair everyday. I would say skip a day of using hair products then yea. Oh and if your hairs just greasy from not taking showers then i would go take one now...

Use Herbal Essance deep cleansing shampoo, and use it everyday at least once. After your shower, put in some baby powder(talcum powder). Don't touch your hair or get stressed out during the day- that adds oil. I swim and after pratice, my hair is very dry and not oily at all... so go swimming!

You can't so much prevent greasy hair as control it. Wash your hair daily, use a shampoo and conditioner formulated for greasy hair.

Don't touch it during the day and wash it every SECOND day. If you wash it every day it can cause greasiness because your scalp feels dry which leads to the overproduction of oils. Wash every second day with the Fructis shampoo and conditioner- greasy roots and dry ends.

wash with shampoo everytime you shower, and wash with conditioner every other time you shower, and you should shower at least every other day. Normally built up conditioner makes your hair greasy so this should help
