A girl will always appreciate that you are thinking about her. If it's not terribly expensive (or you have lots of disposable income), yes, yes, yes.

If the item in question is pricier though, think this through more carefully. Where do you see the relationship going? A girl might be intimidated if you spend alot of money and she's not ready to make a commitment.

On special occasions you can spend more - but again, think about how commited you both are.

I wouldn't do it. Save the money. Here is why:

Once you bought her that "small" gift, you have taken things up a notch in a woman's psyche. Now you can never get her anything less than that and you cannot go back to not getting her anything. She now expects at least that from you. You don't want to do that after only 3 months.

And....chances are this isn't the love of your life and you'll regret it when you see her wearing it with some other guy in the future (if you see her)...i wouldn't do it.

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!

The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.

Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.

Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.

No don't buy the chain .... yet.
Your first gift to her should be something that she doesn't expect. If you gave her a little box, she could possiblyl know whats in it. Buy the chain for her second gift.

Thats a great idea! Girls love getting random gifts like this. It shows you care and pay attention to what she likes. Giving a small gift like this just to show you are thinking about her will go over big.

I find this site helpful when I need a gift idea for my g/f.

Gifts can be presented with or without reasons or occassion. However, so as not to be taken for granted, it'll be appropriate to give her a gift on special occassions not as and when. This is so that she won't have high expectations from you for more gifts.

Girls love receiving gifts for no reason at all. It makes us feel special.

yeah girls love it when you are spontaneous and buy them things just because and mostly when you buy them something they like it also shows that you pay attention to what she likes and stuff like that so i would totally recomend it. then again dont go all out with a little gift bc u have to do better when her bday comes

Depending on the cost of the item. If it is an inexpensive item it is a good idea occasionally. I wouldn't make a habit of it every time she sees something she likes.

u do that and you'll keep on reminding her everytime you give her something that you love her... remember love isn't about the big things you do... love is about the little things you do daily or something special once in a while just to remind the person of that special feeling!
