How could a person afford to attend this institution and not suffer from the large amount of debt in the long run?

Well, Emory does offer a lot of financial aids (Scholarships, Grants, and they have their own loan program). Ther is also a program called Emory Advantage, which provides grants to students that come from a low-income family.
