We often buy fresh pineapples and cut them into chunks but how do you store them? We tried storing them in plastic containers but they would turn brown in a day or so. Then we tried storing them in salt water and plain water but the sweetness of the pineapples faded and became bland. Some websites say to store the cut pineapple in it's own juice but how do you juice a pineapple enough to cover all the fruit in the container?

I just store mine in the fridge in a plastic, air-tight container. As I chop the pineapple, it creates a LOT of juice. I just collect it from my cutting board and put it in the container...it is best to store it in its own juice.
