how would you feel if, one day a complete stranger, somebody you never met before told you that your girlfriend/boyfriend was cheating on you. Then you found out that all your friends knew about it but they never told you anything because theres no proof of her actually doing it, just gossip.

I had it happen to me. It pissed me off at first until my best friend explained it to me. He said that thee reason they didn't tell me is because I would have gotten mad at them because I already knew they didn't like her. They were trying to not ruin our friendship. It makes sense although I felt like a fool.

I would be pretty upset but I would also try and understand the horrible position they were put in. You shouldn't believe everything you hear, ya know, maybe she hasn't been cheating on you. People talk, and they mostly lie. Your friends were stuck between a rock and a hard place, I don't blame them at all for just keeping their mouths shut. Because if they would've told you and the whole mess ended up being not true, then they would have a bad relationship with your girl from then on, no matter what. Better to just stay out of it...

It's very hard for a friend to tell another friend that they are being cheated on to begin with and the fact that they didn't have proof probably made it that much harder. However, if they knew for a fact that she was cheating I think they have a moral responsibility to let you know.

without proof you would have doubted your friends - most people need to have concrete proof before tey will actually believe someone is cheating. i'm sure your friends didn't want to start somehting they coould not support. cut them a little slack & look to them for suport to get through it.
