Right On for asking and having such an open mind to do so!
Church was great yesterday!
My husband came with me for once he asked to go instead of me bitching at him till he gave in, so that started the day off great! Our service was wonderful, lots of praise and worship(gotta love Christian rock) and the whole lesson was on resolving conflict in relationships, so I learned allot(mostly that i need to grow up!)
Anywho.. hope you had a fantastic day!
PS. I'm a Christian so this may sound funny but I have a great guy friend who is single and looking, but he's in San Diego..(i just love playing match maker.

Science and the bilble are meshing together and backing each other as the years go on. I am not religous. Some of the nastiest , most jugemental people I know call their selves christians, and go to church once a week. I am a 'christian' as I believe in Jesus Christ, and am very spiritual as I believe in the Bible. I NEVER go to church because I see to much hipocrisy, and Jesus himself warned about manmade religions leading humans down the wrong path. Christanity is a way of life and a way of believing. Many religions call theirselves 'Christains' Many people think Christanity is a relgion, but they are wrong. Prayer and Love are the most powerful forces on earth, stronger than electicity or anything else. I think of prayer like it is magic. All you have to do is look at the inner workings of the human body and the earth to know something waaaay more powerful and more intelligent created it , either by some sort of blast or what other thing science have come up with. After all science is God. With all that being said, I think it is crazy not to believe in a superior creater.

Church was good. We sang some songs, we prayed,we hear the sermon, we talked to each other. I taught Sunday School class about giving and one of the boys whose parents are breaking up smiled today for the first time in a long time. And one who is mentally challenged got a question right and got some points for his team. Church was good. I'm glad your walk was nice, it is a pretty day and I think I'll take the dog to the park. Not looking for any guy though, just enjoying peacefulness.

I didn't go to Fellowship today. (No, not the Fellowship of the Ring, although I didn't go there either.)
I guess my sister learned about abortion today in Sunday school. (I had to take the sex ed. program as well) But, we explore all sides of sexuality. We've got people of all sexual orientation who come to Fellowship regularly.
In fact, our 'church' is what I call the "Hippie Church". Love and peace and protect the environment. You can just walk in to congregation and sit down. No one will tell you to leave.Actually, we encourage people who have ust walked in to stand up and introduce themselves. Then you get a resounding "Welcome!" from everyone in the room.
The funny thing is, we don't really worship anything, it's more like everyone goes to learn something. Our motto is almost, "Believe whatever you want to believe, just accept everyone else's belief." Or, in my terms, "play nice with the other religions."
We don't have a bible or any kind of book like it. The preacher is usually a random member of the congregation most of the time. In the beginning of service, you can go up and light a candle and tell the church about your joys and sorrows. I remember at one point someone lit a candle and told everyone that she was happy that her daffodils were blooming. Actually, we get random things like that a lot. I went up and lit a candle and just said, "School's out!" (Everyone clapped at that!)
Really, when you think about it, we're kind of like a big diverse group of people that just happen to get together every Sunday.
Wow, I just did some weird advertisement for my fellowship. Sorry about that. o.O
Well, good luck at finding a guy! Thanks for being so nice!

didn't go to church, am not a part of any "group", but I didn't think you would mind if I answerd anyway. Cant tell you about church ...i didnt go. Im having a kinda up and down day, some things are going GREAT ...and others make me feel sad sometimetimes . I do believe that is the way things go. I cannot change the weather BUT I CAN adjust my sails to make the going less rough. thanks and be happy .Happiness is a choice we make everyday. And try not to bog yourself down with others opinions and beliefes.....we as humans are all different ...and im sure there are as many :"heavens" as there are humans . We are not clones and my idea of heaven could be someone elses hell.

Hey brother.
Church today was amazing as it usually is at Temple Baptist Church. At church today we discussed expressing our light (the holy spirit) to help our brothers and sisters in need. Sometimes having faith and being christ like is very good. Most guys and girls may be looking for christian morals, in your case guys. But like you said, you are a kind guy. I wouldnt really express your atheism though because not all Christians will respond in a respectful manner as i did. Good luck, and keep your head high, and walk the right way.
Sincerely,
Justin

:) I thought this was nice. Not a christian or an atheist myself. My day has been enjoying the sun shining outside my windows; petting a more than usual cuddly cat; thinking back on recent Equinnox celebration; checking out Yahoo Answers. Cat and family and I were in a good lazy mood, jokes were good, lunch promises to be yummy. :) Hope your afternoon/evening is very pleasant, too.

I'm Baptist and church was awesome today, as it always is. Its great to have your soul fed by the Word of God and to be with fellow believers. The pastor spoke on Revelations today, which is always intriguing. I'm sorry to hear you don't believe in God, though. I couldn't survive without Him. IF it makes you feel any better, I'm looking for a guy too, a decent, honest, Christian man.

I had a great day at church. Thanks for asking.
One lady, who was supernaturally delivered from crack cocaine, testified to the miracle working power of Jesus.
She was hooked for six years and was able to quit "cold turkey" without the crazy withdrawal symptoms or medications. We had a very upbeat, spontaneous song service and people were praying for each other. The gift of prophecy was also manifested in the service through several believers. The manifest Presence of Jesus Christ was evident to all. We have very cool people in our church. We are a very diversified group (age, ethnicity).
The message was basically about God's Love for people and our true identity in Christ.
Once again, thanks for asking!

Our service at the Orthodox church was what made this beautiful Sabbath so ....beautiful. Got to spend quality time with my creator and the many other members of my family also in attendance. I also had plenty of time to go outside and enjoy the gorgeous day God made for ALL of us. And still had time to sit down and spend some time with you. Isn't that wonderful?
