Why wouldn't it be? Do you see straight people introducing themselves as straight? Of course not...although we tend to assume everyone is straight unless we have indications to the contrary.

A person's sexual orientation is their business....a gay or straight person isn't obligated to state their sexuality to anyone else to hang out as friends. If it's a dating situation, then you should definitely let the other person know, especially if there is a chance they are not of the same orientation as you are.

Actually that is a betrayal.
Admit you are Bi-curious to that person, so it won' t tramatize them when you leave for the same sex. Young people tend to be more open to that. Yet if "LOVE" is envoloved that is just wrong and painful.

Many folks are undercover, or have happy "open" relationships. My best friend was openly gay with a wife and kids.

She was okay with it, since she only wanted to be a MOM and didn't care much for sex (she was not gay) and he was her friend and father to the kids. They had sex less than a dozen times over their 10 year marriage, had two kids from that.

He was happy because he was a dutiful husband and father and traveled for work and "messed around" when he was gone. That worked for them. It was strange to me, but hey its not my life! He died just short of their 10 year anniversary. But even in his death, the insurance and benefits he left thei kids will take them through college. SO WHO knows, for sure what works and doesn't.

Seriously, why do people date? Because they are looking around for what they like in a mate or person to whom they wish to wed, if they are gay, they should tell you, but they must not be gay, if they are being straight, or if they really are doing it for looks, then te;; them they are screwed up, and that you want to be straight, by dating your own kind, STRAIGHT!

As long as the straight person knows then its just 2 friends hanging out for fun - no one gets hurt.

I think it's only the gay person's (and the straight person they're using as cover up)business.

yeah. what if the straight person falls in love with the gay person? lying is wrong and the straight person might end up getting hurt.

I guess you're not obliged to let anyone know that you're a Gay unless the other person has feelings for you.

sorry but yes it is wrong. I don't think you should lead a person on. gay people and straight people should be able to be friends and keeping secrets is not a friend.

Yes, that would be wrong..
Why not just ask the straight person to cooperate ?
I would ...
I lived with a lesbian room-mate for several months and
had sex with her several times...We both enjoyed it very much..
She was a really great woman...

Yes because you are lying to 2 people....the person you aren't telling who believes they have something really great and special with you and YOURSELF! And you can't be honest with yourself, who can you be honest with?

Out yourself! Your not alone and it's okay.
